I’m Katja – dancer, photographer and designer based in Berlin. My professional journey has been shaped by media and design studies, years of work experience in the theatre world as well as numerous projects as a dancer and designer on and off stage. I’m always up for new ideas, so feel free to contact me and let’s explore the possibilities together!
about: dance
My training as a dancer started at private ballet schools before I graduated from the state-approved Elite Dance Academy Schweinfurt – complemented by years of stage experience. In addition to classical ballet and contemporary dance (including pointe work and pas de deux), I’m trained in show dance styles like jazz, fosse style and musical dance, as well as Gaga and hip hop.
I have been working as a freelance dancer since 2021. Currently I am dancing with MBE productions Berlin, Ballet Blanc Berlin, the I’m ART Showdancers in Schweinfurt and Joy of Ballet e.V. in Arnstein.

Dance and performing arts are at the heart of my photographic work – on stage, in the studio, during rehearsals and training. My work is complemented by short, atmospheric video clips for social media and creative portfolio shoots for dancers. After years of work experience at the Bayerisches Staatsballett in Munich, dynamics, timing, and the subtle nuances of unique performance have become a defining part of my visual language.
about: design
As a designer and visual storyteller, I create identities that give visibility to organisations, brands and events and create spaces for connection. For corporate designs, I’m working in close cooperation with my project partners to understand and properly depict their idea. Grounded in studies of Media Management (B.A.) and Information Design (M.A.), I develop visual concepts that are clear, expressive and meaningful.
