I’m Katja, a multidisciplinary artist with focus on stage dance and photography based in Berlin, Germany. My professional journey has been shaped by media and design studies, years of work experience in the theatre world as well as numerous projects as a dancer and designer on and off stage. I’m always up for new ideas and challenges – so feel free to contact me and let’s explore the possibilities together.

During my Bachelor’s degree in Media Management at the THWS Würzburg I concentrated on content creation as well as social media and project management. I transitioned my focus to design while working within the marketing team at the Bayerisches Staatsballett in Munich, where I became a professional dance photographer. To expand my knowledge and skills, I completed the Master’s program Information Design at the Fakultät Gestaltung Würzburg.
As a visual storyteller, I’m mainly exploring fields of people photography. I’m focusing on dance performances, concerts, events and their behind the scenes content, while I also have experiences in portrait and studio photography alongside ventures into videography, illustration, and graphic design.

I gained my foundation in classical ballet and contemporary dance at private ballet schools and completed my training at the state-approved stage dance school Dance Academy in Schweinfurt. In addition to ballet and contemporary (including pointe work and pas de deux), I’m trained in show dance styles like jazz, fosse style and musical dance, as well as Gaga and hip hop.
I have been working as a freelance dancer since 2021. Currently I am guesting with the Ballet Blanc in Berlin, the I’m ART Showdancers in Schweinfurt and Joy of Ballet e.V. in Arnstein.
